Economic Update with Richard Wolff joins Means TV’s weekly lineup
The Marxist economics show is now streaming on Means TV
Aug. 3, 2021 — Beginning today, every new episode of Economic Update with Professor Richard D. Wolff will be streamed on Means TV, available to watch for free.
Now in its 11th season, Economic Update, a weekly nationally syndicated program produced by Democracy at Work, explores complex economic issues and empowers listeners with information to analyze their own predicaments as well as the economy at large.
By focusing on the economic dimensions of everyday life — wages, jobs, taxes, debts, and profits — Professor Wolff explores alternative ways to organize markets and government policies.
The show has become a staple for many leftists — providing interesting and informative critiques of the current global capitalist system and proposing a Marxist alternative to that system.
“Professor Wolff’s project of exposing the evils of capitalism and showing what a socialist alternative looks like aligns incredibly well with what we’re doing at Means TV,” said Naomi Burton, co-founder of Means TV. “We’re excited to bring new episodes of Economic Update to people every week on an ad-free, worker-owned streaming platform.”
Richard Wolff, a Professor of Economics Emeritus at the University of Massachusetts and founder of Democracy At Work, has made a name for himself in the online media space for his lectures on marxism and his debates with prominent liberals and conservatives.
New episodes of Economic Update with Professor Wolff will be available every week on Means TV.
The episodes are available for free so subscribers and non-subscribers can enjoy the episodes on an ad-free, worker-owned platform.
